When You Wake Up Exhausted

Some mornings you wake up and already feel spent. Maybe you did not sleep well. Maybe life has been draining you. The idea of a long prayer or Bible study feels impossible. God understands. He meets us in our weakness, not only in our strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When we have nothing left to give, God’s grace is enough. We do not have to perform for Him. We only need to come as we are.

God Meets You in Weakness

The Bible is full of people who were tired, discouraged, and worn. Elijah asked God to take his life. Jesus fell asleep in a boat during a storm. God does not shame us for being tired. He invites us to rest in Him and to lean on His strength when ours runs out.

A short prayer is enough. A whispered “Help me” is enough. God hears.

Lord, I am exhausted. I have nothing to give today, but I know You do. Meet me in my weakness. Carry me through this day. I depend on You. Amen.
