Morning Prayer for Strength
Morning Prayer for Strength
Drawing Strength at Dawn
Some days we wake up knowing we will need more than our own energy to get through. Whether facing a difficult conversation, a long to-do list, or ongoing hardship, we need strength that goes beyond what we can muster on our own. God invites us to ask for it.
Isaiah 40:31 says, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Strength for the day is not about willpower; it is about depending on the One who never grows tired.
Scripture for Strength
The Bible is full of promises for those who feel weak. Psalm 46:1 calls God “our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. When we acknowledge our need, we open the door for His strength to work in us.
Let these words sink in before you pray. God is not disappointed by your weakness; He meets you there.
A Morning Prayer for Strength
Lord, I need Your strength today. I feel weak and weary, but You have promised to renew those who hope in You. Fill me with courage and endurance for whatever this day holds. Help me to rely on You, not on myself. Thank You for being my refuge. Amen.
