Morning Prayer for Busy Days
Morning Prayer for Busy Days
When Time Is Short
Some mornings there is no time for a long quiet time. You hit the ground running—kids to dress, meetings to make, deadlines to meet. In those moments, it is easy to skip prayer altogether. But God does not require a certain length of time. He meets us in a moment.
Psalm 5:3 says, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” Even a brief word to God can center your heart and remind you that you are not facing the day alone.
A Moment Is Enough
You do not need thirty minutes to connect with God. A single sentence, offered sincerely, counts. The Lord is not keeping score on how long you pray. He cares about the posture of your heart. A quick “God, help me today” is a valid prayer. So is a breath of thanks before you rush out the door.
The goal is not perfection. The goal is connection—however brief.
A 30-Second Morning Prayer
Lord, I have no time today, but I need You. Be with me. Give me strength and peace. Help me to honor You in the rush. Amen.
